Velia is a San Francisco native, living and producing art in Los Angeles, CA. Her paintings predominantly reflect her interest in environmental preservation. Her rich gouache & oil paintings pop with endangered plants on sharp backgrounds giving these threatened species new life on the canvas. She received her BFA in illustration from the California College of the Arts in 2013.
